Our undergraduate student Ahmet Çelik has been awarded first place in the undergraduate category of the Industrial-Oriented R&D and Innovation Project Competition organized by the Adana Hacı Sabancı Organized Industrial Zone Directorate.

Çelik participated in the competition with his project titled “Production of Recombinant Enzymes for Biofuel Generation from Biomass and Development of Enzyme Cocktails”, aiming to make significant contributions to research in the field of green technologies.

Ahmet Çelik, a senior student in the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, accelerated his academic progress by taking advanced courses starting from his second year and has completed a substantial portion of his coursework early. He continues with a remaining course in his final year while actively dedicating his time to research and project-based activities, including TÜBİTAK 2209-B Program projects, laboratory studies, TEKNOFEST, and various R&D and innovation competitions.

We congratulate our student, who has been awarded a prize of 20,000 TL, and wish him continued success in his project outcomes as well as in his academic and professional journey.

Congratulations, Ahmet!
