A New Project from Bartın University Scientific Research Club: “Little Scientists: Getting to Know My Microorganisms”
The Scientific Research Club, under the academic supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Yusuf Ceylan, a faculty member of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at Bartın University, has once again achieved an important success with a new project aimed at increasing interest in science. The project titled “Little Scientists: Getting to Know My Microorganisms”, prepared by the club members, has been accepted within the scope of the ÜNİDES program. Within the scope of the project, it is aimed to increase the interest in science among children studying in village schools with limited access to scientific resources, and to contribute to the development of their skills in experimentation, observation, and critical thinking. Club members plan to conduct fun and educational microbiology experiments together with students in village schools, aiming to foster curiosity and enthusiasm for science among children. Through this project, students’ scientific thinking skills will be supported, while also providing an inspiring learning experience for children who have not previously had the opportunity to engage with science. The Bartın University Scientific Research Club continues its efforts with determination to promote science not only in laboratories but also in the hearts of every child.
