Students who were unable to attend any of the final or make-up exams planned to be held face-to-face in undergraduate and graduate programs during the Fall Semester of the 2021–2022 Academic Year (excluding the courses Basic Information Technologies Usage, Atatürk’s Principles and History of Turkish Revolution, Turkish Language, and English, whose exams were conducted via distance education), and therefore failed due to being COVID-19 positive and/or in contact (HES code “risky”), as well as students who could not attend the final exam on January 19, 2022, due to heavy snowfall, have been granted the right to take an Additional Exam.

Except for grade improvement purposes, students who meet the above conditions may benefit from this right by completing the Additional Exam Application Form and submitting it, along with documents proving their situation, to their respective department chair offices between February 7–8, 2022. The exams will be held once only, on dates to be determined by the relevant units between February 10–18, 2022, and will be conducted face-to-face.
